Performance Art. To Love the Wind is a live, multi-sensory storytelling performance exploring the invisible forces that both connect and separate us. Presented at the Bijou Amphitheatre as part of the December Open Studios programme, the project brings together music, spoken word, and animated light to create an immersive narrative environment.
Led by Tanika Paschke-Moloi in collaboration with the Spiritual Jazz ensemble Uthiomkumbulu and motion-design artist Alistair Campbell, the performance weaves original songs and spoken text through a responsive light installation created with Bijou art residents. The work treats creativity as an unseen force — briefly made visible through art, while remaining larger, more fluid, and unresolved beyond the object itself.
